Movie Plot:-Rupert Wyatt’s sci-fi movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes, takes into account a genetic experiment on apes, turning out to be a disaster. The movie opens with a San Francisco-based scientist, trying to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease, by carrying tests on an ape named Caesar. All of a sudden, the ape starts to incur genetic changes, and from, starts a battle for the survival of the most intelligent being. The movie focuses on the revolt by the mutated ape, who tries to rule over humans. In addition to some breath-taking action sequences, the sci-fi flick scores heavily on the use of special effects. The film also brings to limelight the emotional connection between man and ape, when the scientist takes Caesar away from the cruelty. But destiny had something else in store for the scientist, as the ape breaks all the rules and become rebellious. This sci-fi blockbuster belongs to the much-appreciated Planet of the Apes series. The role of the scientist was supposed to be played by Tobey Maguire, but it eventually went to James Franco of ‘Spiderman’ fame.
